LINK-PP LS-MM8501-02I is a 155M SFP optical transceiver designed for stable data transmission over multi-mode fiber with an 850nm wavelength and up to 2km reach. It features a duplex LC interface and integrated digital diagnostics monitoring, making it suitable for commercial networking environments requiring reliable and simple deployment.
Built to follow the SFP Multi-Source Agreement, this optical module can be used with a wide range of standard SFP interfaces. It also supports SFF-8472, allowing the host system to access key module information through a digital interface.
A data rate of 155Mbps supports stable communication in MMF-based industrial links and control systems. It is well suited for scenarios where consistent low-speed transmission is required across short to medium distances.
Operating at 850nm, this module is optimized for multi-mode fiber transmission. This wavelength allows efficient signal propagation over MMF while maintaining reliable optical performance.
The transceiver supports transmission distances of up to 2km over multi-mode fiber. This reach provides flexibility for extending network connections within campuses or industrial facilities.
Equipped with a duplex LC connector, it enables separate transmit and receive channels over MMF. This interface supports stable bidirectional communication and is widely used in SFP-based deployments.
Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) functionality allows continuous tracking of key parameters during operation. Users can monitor metrics such as optical power levels and module status to support maintenance and system management.

Q: We are upgrading a legacy campus security alarm matrix that uses SONET framing. Does the module support these standards? By S***e on 2026-04-02
A: Yes, the LS-MM8501-02I fully supports multi-protocol layers including Fast Ethernet and SONET OC-3 architectures. It maintains precise protocol serialization for stable telemetry communication. By admin on 2026-04-03
Q: Can our remote network operations center read the exact laser bias current and module voltage through the DOM interface? By O***g on 2026-01-07
A: Yes, the integrated diagnostic monitoring continuously streams precise physical layer data directly to your monitoring software. This allows you to track transceiver health without visiting the physical site. By admin on 2026-01-08
Q: Our roadside traffic monitoring cabinets suffer from intense summer heatwaves. Will this module overheat and drop links? By L***s on 2025-11-13
A: Not at all, this transceiver is explicitly engineered as an industrial-grade -40 to +85°C wide temperature range. Its heavy-duty optical components handle temperature extremes seamlessly without any thermal or signal drifting. By admin on 2025-11-14
Q: Can we pair this 850nm SFP transceiver with a 1310nm multi-mode module on the other end of the building run? By J***s on 2025-07-18
A: No, optical transceivers must match identical wavelengths on both sides of the link to achieve a valid connection. By admin on 2025-07-19
Q: Will this 850nm transceiver function properly if our underground multi-mode fiber runs experience tight bends inside narrow conduits? By E***s on 2025-03-21
A: As long as the physical fiber attenuation stays within standard parameters, the module's excellent receiver sensitivity handles minor bend losses easily. It provides plenty of link margin for complex cable routing. By admin on 2025-03-22
