03.How do I choose SR vs LR vs ER vs 10GBASE-T?
Match fiber and distance: SR for short multimode (typically up to about 300 m on OM3/OM4), LR for about 10 km single-mode, ER for longer single-mode reaches (often about 40 km). Choose 10GBASE-T when the link is copper RJ45 within the module’s rated meterage. Confirm wavelength, connector, and DOM on the product page before ordering.
04.Will a compatible 10G SFP+ work in my switch?
Order the SKU coded for your OEM brand and part number (for example Cisco SFP-10G-SR). Wrong coding can show as unsupported transceiver or no link. If your platform is not listed, contact LINK-PP support with the switch model and OEM PN before purchase. See also our compatibility testing process.
05.Do LINK-PP 10G modules include DOM / DDM?
Most optical 10G SFP+ SKUs support digital diagnostics (DOM/DDM) per the product datasheet; copper 10GBASE-T support varies by SKU. Always check the individual product page specifications for DOM, temperature range, and reach.
