LINK-PP LS-BL315501-20I is an industrial-grade 155M BiDi SFP optical module designed for stable long-reach data transport. By deploying bi-directional wavelength splitting, it achieves efficient data routing over distances up to 20km via a single fiber line. The addition of standard digital diagnostics ensures continuous link transparency in harsh operational environments.
The transceiver consists of three sections: a FP laser transmitter, a PIN photodiode integrated with a trans-impedance preamplifier (TIA) and MCU control unit. This cohesive hardware layout manages electro-optical conversion with great precision. It forms the core foundation that guarantees steady signal processing even under harsh environmental conditions.
Running at a steady line rate of 155Mbps, this device satisfies the precise bandwidth needs of automation systems and remote field environments. It keeps communication channels responsive and stable within substations and edge utility setups. The optimized data rate prevents traffic bottlenecks in critical grid links.
Utilizing bidirectional optical design, the module separates incoming and outgoing traffic on a 1310nm/1550nm split using only one fiber strand. This single-strand approach maximizes physical infrastructure efficiency by instantly doubling data capacity. It eliminates the need for expensive additional fiber installation over existing pathways.
The module easily overcomes signal attenuation to span up to 20km across single-mode fiber infrastructure. This extensive reach bridges wide gaps between distant field nodes without requiring inline amplifiers. It offers a clean, direct connection option for long-range regional link setups.
A small-footprint Simplex LC receptacle allows for fast, secure fiber termination in tight distribution boxes. Utilizing a single-port setup halves the bulk of patches and cords in high-density networking racks. This design keeps physical cable routing exceptionally organized and cost-efficient.
Integrated Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) grants network administrators immediate visibility into critical hardware telemetry. Users can constantly track real-time changes in internal temperature, voltage, and laser currents. This transparent diagnostic layer helps catch minor link degradation before a full network outage occurs.
