LINK-PP LS-CW591G-80C is a commercial-grade single-mode CWDM SFP transceiver with a hot-pluggable SFP footprint and SFP MSA compliance. It uses CWDM technology, a 1590nm wavelength, 80km transmission support, a Duplex LC interface, and DDM to fit long-distance enterprise and campus fiber links.
This optical module is designed with a hot-pluggable SFP+ footprint, so it can be installed or replaced without interrupting the whole system. It also complies with the SFP+ MSA, which helps it fit well with compatible switches, routers, and other network devices.
Operating at 1Gbps, this module is suitable for networks that need steady Gigabit transmission over long distances. It is a practical option for extended campus backbones, access networks, and other fiber links where reliable bandwidth is required.
CWDM technology allows the module to transmit data on a specific wavelength while sharing the same fiber infrastructure with other channels. This helps improve fiber utilization and supports more cost-effective network expansion.
The 1590nm wavelength is part of the CWDM wavelength plan and is used to separate this channel from others in the same system. This makes it easier to build organized multi-channel networks and maintain clear signal routing.
