LINK-PP LS-CW431G-80C is a 1430nm CWDM SFP module that delivers 1Gbps data rates over 80km on single-mode fiber, while operating from 0 to 70°C. It combines a hot-pluggable SFP footprint, duplex LC interface, and real-time digital diagnostic monitoring in a single compact package. These features together support reliable links for campus, aggregation, and long-haul applications.
The LS-CW431G-80C optical transceiver adopts a hot-pluggable SFP mechanical footprint and is fully compliant with the SFP MSA. This ensures broad interoperability with standard networking equipment and allows quick field replacement without powering down the system.
This transceiver supports 1Gbps Ethernet connectivity, making it well suited for campus backbone and aggregation layers. It provides adequate bandwidth for inter-building trunk links and core-to-distribution connections while keeping a simple, cost-effective design.
The CWDM technology built into this module allows multiple wavelengths to be multiplexed onto a single fiber, greatly improving fiber utilization. By occupying a specific 1430nm channel, it avoids wavelength overlap with other CWDM transceivers in the same network.
Its operating wavelength of 1430nm is part of the standard CWDM grid, enabling seamless integration into existing wavelength-division multiplexing systems. This fixed channel simplifies wavelength planning and reduces the risk of interference during deployment.
The 80km reach over single-mode fiber makes this module capable of spanning long distances between sites, such as in metropolitan or regional networks. It maintains stable signal quality across that distance without needing external amplifiers or repeaters.
The duplex LC connector offers a widely adopted, industry-standard optical interface that mates easily with most patch panels and cables. This common interface reduces the need for special adapters and simplifies cable management in data centers and wiring closets.
The integrated digital diagnostic monitoring (DDM) provides real-time visibility into operating parameters such as temperature, supply voltage, bias current, and optical receive/transmit power.
