LS-CW391G-80C 1390nm CWDM SFP module achieves 1Gbps transmission distances of up to 80km over single-mode fiber, using a DFB laser source and a PIN receiver, while its 0 to 70°C operating range covers standard commercial environments. Built-in digital optical monitoring function enables real-time access to Tx/Rx optical power, laser bias current, operating temperature, and supply voltage.

LINK-PP LS-CW391G-80C is a commercial-grade 1390nm CWDM SFP transceiver that bundles the essential capabilities for dependable long-haul fiber links. It integrates a 1Gbps data rate, 80km reach, SFP MSA compliance, duplex LC connectivity, and real-time DOM, all within a hot-pluggable mechanical design.
The hot-pluggable SFP footprint of this module allows field replacement without interrupting system operation. Its full compliance with the SFP MSA ensures seamless interoperability with a wide range of standard host equipment.
For enterprise fiber infrastructures, this SFP module supplies a clean 1Gbps transport channel, bridging various network segments from the main data center to wiring closets. Its bandwidth is more than adequate for day-to-day enterprise data exchanges and end-user connectivity needs.
CWDM technology in this module maximises fibre utilisation by multiplexing several independent channels onto a single fibre pair. Operating on a designated CWDM grid channel, it reduces the number of physical fibres needed for network expansion.
The 1390nm channel offers low attenuation in standard single-mode fibre and maintains moderate dispersion over extended distances. This wavelength fits neatly into common CWDM plans, providing a cost-effective choice for metro and regional networks.
80km reach is achieved through a DFB laser transmitter and a sensitive PIN photodiode receiver, which together supply sufficient optical budget for the link. Such distance covers most city-wide connections and long campus backbones without requiring intermediate regeneration.
Equipped with a duplex LC optical connector, this module offers a familiar and reliable interface for fiber patch cords and panels. The LC design ensures low insertion loss and easy polarity management, making it convenient for high-density wiring environments.
Real-time DOM gives network operators instant visibility into transmit/receive optical power, laser bias current, temperature, and supply voltage. These live measurements help detect early signs of fibre degradation and enable proactive maintenance before link failures occur.
