Although the optics are commercial temperature rated, the modules are located in climate-controlled equipment areas, and the long single-mode runs are entirely within the 80km design target. For a data-center-to-campus extension project, we needed a proven 1390nm CWDM transceiver that would work over existing single-mode fiber and LC patching. The LS-CW391G-80C did exactly that.
