LINK-PP LS-BL554901-80C is a commercial-grade 155M BiDi SFP optical transceiver designed for single-mode fiber with 1550nm-TX / 1490nm-RX wavelengths and up to 80km reach. It integrates a simplex LC interface, DFB laser, PIN photodiode, and DDM function to support stable transmission and basic monitoring within a 0 to 70°C operating range.
This optical module is compliant with the SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), enabling seamless interoperability with a wide range of networking equipment. It also supports SFF-8472, providing a standardized interface for module management and integration within compatible systems.
Operating at 155Mbps, it meets the requirements of Fast Ethernet and SDH/SONET applications. This data rate is suitable for remote site connections where stable and moderate bandwidth is needed over fiber links.
A BiDi design enables transmission and reception over a single fiber using 1550nm for TX and 1490nm for RX. This wavelength pairing helps reduce fiber usage while maintaining clear signal separation.
Designed for extended-distance links, it supports transmission up to 80km on single-mode fiber. This makes it suitable for long-distance connections between geographically separated sites.
The simplex LC connector allows bidirectional communication over one fiber strand. It simplifies cabling and is easy to integrate into standard fiber infrastructure.
Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) provides real-time visibility into module status. Parameters such as temperature, laser bias current, supply voltage, and optical power can be monitored to support maintenance and fault detection.
