HPE P9H32A Compatible LINK-PP module is a 32G SFP28 850nm multi-mode optical transceiver designed for stable short-reach data transmission over MMF. It combines compact form factor, reliable optical performance, and real-time monitoring to support efficient 32Gbps connectivity in modern fiber links.
This module follows the SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) for broad compatibility with standard networking equipment. It also supports SFF-8472 digital diagnostics functions, allowing users to monitor key operating parameters such as temperature, voltage, and optical power.
It enables 32Gbps data transmission for short-distance fiber interconnects within racks or between nearby devices. The module is well-suited for environments requiring fast and stable data exchange over limited distances.
Operating at an 850nm wavelength, the module is optimized for multi-mode fiber transmission. This wavelength ensures efficient signal propagation and compatibility with standard MMF infrastructure.
The module supports transmission distances of up to 70 m over OM3 MMF and 100 m over OM4 MMF. This makes it suitable for typical short-range optical links in structured cabling systems.
A duplex LC/UPC connector pair handles both transmit and receive channels in one plug. The UPC polish minimizes back reflection for stable link operation.
With built-in Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM), the module provides real-time visibility into its operating status. This helps simplify maintenance and improve network reliability through early detection of issues.

Q: Can I use our existing OM3 patch cables with this transceiver, or is OM4 mandatory? By E***e on 2026-04-03
A: You can use both! You will reach up to 70m over OM3 multi-mode fiber, while OM4 MMF is required to achieve the full 100m transmission distance. By admin on 2026-04-04
Q: Is the 850nm VCSEL transmitter inside this module safe for field technicians inspecting fiber endpoints? By C***y on 2025-12-05
A: It is a certified Class 1 Laser product compliant with IEC 60825-1 safety standards, though technicians should still avoid staring directly into live optical apertures. By admin on 2025-12-06
Q: What physical optical connector type does our patch panel need to mate with this LS-MM8532-S1C SFP28 transceiver? By S***e on 2025-06-21
A: It uses a standard Duplex LC interface, so any LC-to-LC multi-mode duplex patch cable will click right in. By admin on 2025-06-22
Q: Can we request sample units to test latency and bit error rates in our live rack setup before placing a large order? By L***r on 2025-03-11
A: Yes, we offer a sample evaluation program that allows network engineers to validate link performance in their own environment prior to a full deployment. Please contact our sales team to request a test module. By admin on 2025-03-12
