The device incorporates a 2-wire interface for management specifications compliant with the SFF-8472 digital diagnostic monitoring interface for optical transceivers. This standard-based design allows seamless host interaction and painless system integration. It ensures universal compatibility across diverse networking ecosystems.
Delivering a major leap in bandwidth, this module supplies a rapid 25Gbps data rate to handle heavy traffic loads in rugged environments. It meets the strict latency and speed requirements of automated factories and outdoor nodes.
By pairing 1270nm transmitting and 1330nm receiving channels, the transceiver splits bi-directional traffic onto distinct optical paths. This setup eliminates cross-talk and ensures clean, simultaneous upstream and downstream data flow.
The module spans long-range geographical distances up to 20km over single-mode fiber without suffering signal degradation. It provides ample power margin to link remote edge locations back to the central office securely.
Utilizing a single simplex LC/UPC connector, it halves the amount of physical fiber optic patch cords needed for installation. The precision-polished connector interface also keeps signal reflection low and connection stability high.
