This module combines CWDM wavelength efficiency, hot-pluggable convenience, and real-time performance visibility to support scalable deployments across enterprise, metropolitan, and service provider networks.
This CWDM module features a hot-pluggable SFP+ footprint that enables seamless insertion and removal without disrupting network operations, while maintaining full compliance with SFP+ MSA and SFF-8472 standards for broad interoperability. This design ensures straightforward integration into existing SFP+ ports across switches, routers, and optical transport equipment from multiple vendors.
Built for 10Gbps operation, this transceiver handles bandwidth-heavy workloads across geographically dispersed enterprise sites, including campus core networks and inter-building fiber connections. The 10G capacity readily supports data-intensive services such as server virtualization, cloud connectivity, and enterprise voice/video communications in multi-location deployments.
CWDM technology allows multiple wavelength channels to coexist on a single fiber pair, multiplying network capacity without additional cabling investments. Operating at the 1610nm CWDM wavelength, this module aligns with the long-wavelength end of the 18-channel CWDM grid defined by ITU-T G.694.2.
