HPE H3C JD120B Compatible LINK-PP module is a reliable 100BASE-LX single-mode SFP transceiver engineered for stable 10km optical transmissions. It features a 1310nm operating wavelength, a duplex LC mechanical interface, and an integrated Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) system. This versatile module offers comprehensive multi-vendor hardware compatibility while strictly adhering to international regulatory and safety standards.
This module is fully compliant with the SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and the SFF-8472 standard, ensuring seamless hardware cross-compatibility. It features a standardized duplex LC receptacle for secure physical fiber connections. Additionally, its optical design safely satisfies all strict Class I laser safety requirements during active network operation.
The transceiver delivers a data transmission speed of 155Mbps, making it an excellent fit for Fast Ethernet applications. It provides the precise timing and reliable throughput required by legacy SONET transport systems. This steady rate guarantees consistent data traffic flow across edge networks without packet dropouts.
Operating at a stable 1310nm center wavelength, this module uses a built-in Fabry-Perot (FP) laser to transmit optical signals. This specific wavelength is ideal for minimizing signal attenuation and dispersion over standard single-mode fibers. The paired internal PIN photodetector accurately converts the incoming 1310nm light back into clean electrical signals.
Designed for medium-reach optical links, this transceiver supports clean data transmission up to a maximum distance of 10km. It provides an optimized optical power budget to overcome standard line losses over single-mode fiber (SMF) infrastructure. This 10km span makes it highly effective for connecting separate buildings across a corporate campus or regional telecom nodes.
The module is equipped with an industry-standard duplex LC receptacle to ensure a tight, low-loss physical fiber connection. This compact interface design allows for high port density on network switches and routers. The snap-in locking mechanism prevents accidental fiber disconnects and simplifies manual installation or removal.
Featuring built-in Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM), the transceiver provides real-time access to vital internal operating parameters. Network administrators can easily track diagnostic metrics such as transceiver temperature, laser bias current, and optical receiver power. This proactive monitoring helps IT teams quickly identify potential link faults before an actual network outage occurs.

Q: Do you offer customized split-shipping options if our network deployments are spread across multiple regional branches? By L***m on 2026-03-25
A: Yes, we can coordinate with your team to divide large bulk orders and drop-ship specific quantities directly to localized field offices. By admin on 2026-03-26
Q: Can we use an old OM1 or OM2 multi-mode fiber patch cord for short-range building jumps with this 1310nm SFP module? By A***d on 2026-02-03
A: It is not recommended, as mismatching a 1310nm single-mode transceiver into multi-mode fiber causes severe modal noise and massive packet loss. By admin on 2026-02-04
Q: Does the integrated DOM feature allow us to program automatic threshold alerts for internal laser temperature fluctuations? By H***n on 2026-01-29
A: Yes, the SFF-8472 compliant digital monitoring enables the host switch to trip high/low warning flags via your SNMP daemon before a link drops. By admin on 2026-01-30
Q: Does this 155M SFP module support synchronous Ethernet timing data when deployed in legacy SONET distribution links? By I***m on 2025-12-19
A: Yes, the physical layer design supports standard packet-based Fast Ethernet as well as bit-level synchronous OC-3 transmission architectures. By admin on 2025-12-20
Q: What happens to the telemetry readings if I hot-swap this module into a running multi-vendor switch stack? By E***d on 2025-12-10
A: The transceiver supports full hot-pluggability, allowing the host operating system to dynamically discover the interface and populate real-time diagnostic registers within seconds. By admin on 2025-12-11
