H3C SFP-FE-LX-SM1310-BIDI Compatible LINK-PP module is a single-strand bidirectional transceiver engineered to optimize single-mode fiber infrastructure for long-range links. This hot-pluggable SFP module integrates dual-wavelength separation, digital diagnostics, and a 155Mbps data rate into a compact form factor. It provides a highly efficient and stable hardware footprint for standard telecom and network access deployments.
This transceiver strictly adheres to the global SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), guaranteeing seamless physical and electronic interoperability across diverse vendor hardware platforms. Furthermore, it incorporates SFF-8472 compliance to deliver comprehensive digital diagnostic monitoring for immediate system validation.
Delivering a steady 155Mbps throughput, this unit handles standard Fast Ethernet traffic with excellent timing accuracy. By utilizing single-strand single-mode fiber for simultaneous dual-direction traffic, it minimizes cabling complexity and cuts infrastructure deployment costs in half.
The device employs a bi-directional wave-division strategy, launching upstream data at 1310nm while collecting downstream traffic at 1550nm. This clear spectral decoupling isolates incoming and outgoing signals on the same glass core, completely removing cross-channel crosstalk.
With an optimized internal power budget, the transceiver maintains a clear optical path across single-mode fiber spans extending up to 15km. This capacity easily satisfies the physical reach demands of regional aggregation networks and distant edge connections.
Utilizing a single-port simplex LC receptacle, the hardware ensures a tight, vibration-resistant fiber connection within high-density switch environments. This compact interface layout simplifies patch cable management and reduces the space needed in distribution panels.
Onboard Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) continuously extracts key telemetry data, including internal temperature, supply voltage, and transmitter-receiver power thresholds. Operators can use these continuous metrics to spot signal degradation early and handle maintenance before an actual link failure occurs.
