We recently overhauled our corporate campus networking framework, upgrading 48 hypervisor nodes from 10G to 25G infrastructure. With 48 ports packed tightly into a 1U Top-of-Rack (ToR) switch, internal thermal management was our number one concern. Some cheap generic transceivers run hot, pushing past 3.5W and causing localized port shutdown loops.
The LS-BL273325-20I surprised us pleasantly. Thermal imaging shows a highly uniform heat dissipation pattern, with power draw strictly capped under 1.2W. Our core switch exhaust temperatures have remained completely stable. We did experience a minor logistics hiccup—the DHL delivery package arrived with a slightly crushed outer corner box due to a customs inspection delay at the airport. However, the internal transceiver module were completely intact, and every single optic passed its visual inspection and built-in loopback test.
