This high-performance transceiver integrates an uncooled 4-channel 850nm VCSEL array and a 4-channel PIN photodetector array. Fully compliant with CMIS V4.0 and IEEE 802.3cd standards, it features a 200GAUI-4 electrical interface, built-in digital diagnostics, and a commercial operating case temperature ranging from 0°C to 70°C.
The H3C QSFP56-200G-SR4-MM850 Compatible LINK-PP optical module offers a robust, energy-efficient solution for short-reach data communication. Utilizing advanced 200G PAM4 modulation technology, it delivers exceptional signal integrity and ultra-low latency for high-density networking environments.
Designed to handle traffic-heavy enterprise infrastructure, this module brings reliable 200G connectivity to demanding campus core networks. It seamlessly eliminates bandwidth bottlenecks, ensuring smooth multi-gigabit data transmission across enterprise data centers and switch-to-switch links.
Operating at a nominal 850nm wavelength, the module is equipped with an array of premium VCSEL transmitters. This optical configuration optimizes short-range fiber-optic communication, providing a stable, low-dispersion solution that fulfills stringent corporate hardware and networking standards.
Engineered for excellent short-reach performance, this transceiver supports link lengths up to 70 meters on OM3 multi-mode fiber. For enhanced data center layout flexibility, it reaches a maximum transmission distance of 100 meters over OM4 or OM5 multi-mode fibers.
The transceiver features a single male MPO-12 receptacle designed for parallel optical lane assignments. This interface guarantees secure, rapid fiber connection alignment, drastically simplifying high-density patch cabling installations while maximizing optical link stability across active data paths.
With integrated Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) compliant with CMIS V4.0, users can track vital real-time metrics. The system continuously monitors module temperature, supply voltage, laser bias current, and receive/transmit power to prevent sudden network downtime.

Q: Just confirming the cabling requirements—can we use our existing OM3 fiber backbone, or do we strictly need OM4/OM5 for the MPO-12 interface? By L***l on 2026-01-11
A: You can definitely use your existing OM3 runs! These modules support up to 70 meters on OM3 multi-mode fiber. If you decide to upgrade to OM4 or OM5 later, you'll be able to push the transmission distance to the maximum 100 meters. Just make sure your MTP/MPO-12 patch cords are clean prior to installation!
