This 1310nm LAN-WDM transceiver is designed exclusively for Single Mode Fiber (SMF) with a Duplex LC connector. To prevent receiver saturation and hardware damage on short test runs, we strongly recommend using OS2 SMF cable along with appropriate optical attenuators (usually 5dB to 10dB for lab testing).
