We already have a CWDM system with a 1490nm channel. Can this module be used directly with that wavelength plan?

Yes. The LS-CW4910-40C is specifically the 1490nm CWDM version and is designed for 10G transmission over single-mode fiber. It supports up to 40km and uses a Duplex LC interface. The far-end optic and CWDM mux/demux should use the corresponding wavelength channel for the optical path.

Can our monitoring system read TX and RX optical power from this SFP+?

Yes. The module supports DOM/DDM through the SFF-8472 diagnostic interface. Supported host equipment can read parameters such as module temperature, supply voltage, laser bias current, TX optical power and RX optical power for remote link monitoring and troubleshooting.
