The Juniper QDD-400G-LR4-10 Compatible LINK-PP module is a high-performance 400G QSFP-DD optical transceiver engineered for demanding data communication environments. It translates eight channels of 53.125Gb/s electrical input into four lanes of 106.25Gb/s optical signals. Compliant with IEEE 802.3bs and QSFP-DD MSA standards, this hot-pluggable module features a single 3.3V power supply and low power consumption.

This cutting-edge transceiver offers high integration, robust EMI resistance, and low power dissipation under 9.5W. It supports full-duplex aggregate transmission rates up to 400Gbps using high-efficiency PAM4 modulation. Its 400GAUI-8 electrical interface guarantees seamless host connectivity, while a two-wire serial interface provides comprehensive management access via CMIS 4.0.
The QDD-400G-LR4-10 optical module delivers an ideal combination of port density and bandwidth. It optimizes network infrastructure by leveraging advanced optical multiplexing, satisfying the escalating transmission demands of enterprise networks and modern cloud data centers.
Tailored for High-Performance Computing (HPC) clusters and Infiniband interconnects, this 400G transceiver provides the ultra-high throughput and low latency required for intensive parallel computing workloads, heavy artificial intelligence processing, and massive data storage synchronization.
By incorporating coarse wavelength division multiplexing (CWDM) technology, this transceiver consolidates four distinct lanes onto a single fiber. This architecture maximizes existing cable utility and significantly reduces total fiber infrastructure deployment costs.
Operating over four precise CWDM wavelengths—1271nm, 1291nm, 1311nm, and 1331nm—the module ensures stable optical channels. This specific spacing avoids signal overlap and maintains high signal integrity during multi-channel data routing.
Equipped with a highly sensitive receiver and robust transmitters, this transceiver achieves reliable long-haul data links up to 10km over single-mode fiber. It relies on Forward Error Correction (FEC) to guarantee error-free data delivery.
Featuring an industry-standard duplex LC optical connector, the transceiver ensures a secure, low-insertion-loss physical connection. This standard interface facilitates straightforward integration with existing single-mode fiber patch cables and patch panels.
Integrated Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) tracks vital operating metrics in real time. Network administrators can closely monitor transceiver temperature, supply voltage, laser bias current, and TX/RX optical power levels to prevent link failures.

Q: We're doing a massive data center interconnect upgrade and need to grab around 150 units. Do you guys offer any B2B bulk pricing? By D***s on 2026-03-13
A: Definitely! We fully support enterprise volume procurement. The cart automatically applies discounts for large orders, but for deployments of 100+ units, please hit up our B2B sales team directly for deeper net terms and customized quotes. By admin on 2026-03-13
Q: Hello, will this 400G QSFP-DD optic work with our Cisco Nexus 9000 core switches? I really don't want to deal with "unsupported transceiver" errors. By K***n on 2025-11-29
A: Hi! Yes, absolutely. The LQD-CW400-LR4C is fully QSFP-DD MSA compliant with custom EEPROM coding available. It functions plug-and-play in Cisco Nexus environments natively without triggering any third-party block alerts. By admin on 2025-11-29
Q: Are these optics strictly for Ethernet, or do they support industry protocols like InfiniBand? We need them for an AI HPC cluster setup. By L***r on 2025-08-25
A: They seamlessly handle both! They are fully compliant with IEEE 802.3bs for Ethernet and strictly adaptable to 400G InfiniBand NDR protocol standards. They deliver the massive bandwidth and ultra-low latency required for heavy AI nodes and server backend networks. By admin on 2025-08-25
Q: Just double-checking the fiber type—do I need an MPO trunk for this, or will my standard duplex LC single-mode patches work for a 10km link? By E***l on 2025-03-25
A: Your standard Duplex LC OS2 single-mode fiber (SMF) patch cables will work perfectly! This transceiver uses built-in CWDM technology to multiplex four wavelengths, running 400G over just two strands of fiber up to 10km. No MPO conversion required! By admin on 2025-03-25
