One of the dust caps was missing inside the protective tray, so I had to clean the LC ferrule before insertion. Once cleaned, the duplex LC connector snapped in tightly and optical power levels were spot on over a 8km single-mode run.

The outer cardboard box was slightly crushed during transit, but the individual anti-static ESD packaging protected the transceivers completely. Tested all 10 units on our fiber patch panel at 1310nm wavelength; receiver sensitivity is around -28dBm as advertised. Good quality overall.
